The cultural service
The article 85 (I) of the Decree no 2012/433 of 1st October 2012, organizing the Ministry of Higher Education stipulates that the Ministry of Higher Education has external cultural services in its Embassies and Diplomatic Missions abroad.
The major role of the Cultural Service is to cater for the needs of Cameroonian students (students under scholarship and students on private sponsorship).
The government of Cameroon gives complementary bursaries to students on scholarship except for those in United Kingdom and Switzerland because they are full scholarships.
It is worth noting that the pre-selection of applicants is done by the scholarship commission in the Ministry of Higher Education. The final selection is done by the awarding country.
